Consultation & Workshops
Beyond practicing as a therapist, I also offer professional development for fellow therapists and others in helping professions. My webinar, Affirming Therapy Beyond the Margins of Monogamy, is for counsellors interested in growing their cultural awareness and responsiveness to folks in their care who are navigating relationship structures and orientations outside monogamy (open relationships, consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, and more). This workshop is offered seasonally, and can also be booked by group practices seeking to learn and grow together.
Consultation services are also available for therapists seeking one-on-one peer support in navigating their own responses to particular themes in which I specialize, including 2SIALGBTQ+ affirmation, exploring identity related to gender and sexual orientation, working with non-monogamy, and grappling with systemic oppressions while working to support change. I offer consultation services from a humility-centered, decolonizing, systems-awareness approach, as part of fostering cultural humility and responsiveness in our practices.
